Yeah they sound great.. when and IF they work! I have 6 in my boat, and so far I've had one that was DOA out of the box, one that quit working after 30 days, and 2 of them that the crossover capacitor in the tweeter literally BLEW UP in. Seriously.. blew up like BANG and no more tweeter afterwords. I'm driving them hard but with an amp that's only putting out 60w RMS! There's just no excuse for this kind of shoddy reliability. Very disappointed.. and if I could, I would swap them all out for some Polk's. I have 4 - 4" Polks and I drive them just as hard with no problems whatsoever. Get it together, Harmon. They sound great and look even better. Loud, crisp sound and nice bass to go with it! I ended up leaving the stock JBL 6x9's because they are hidden and put these in another spot because they look so damn cool. You can definitely hear the difference. |
