I purchased these speakers to replace my blown out stock speakers for my 99 Forester. The speakers work great and sound great. You can hear new parts to your music that I could not get with my old speakers. The sound is crisp, clear, and the bass hits hard. I would suggest though that if you are to purchase these speakers you will also need a amp for them or you will not get the full potential out of them. My deck only puts out 50 watts, so I had to get an amp to get up towards that 260 watt mark. installation was fairly easy, just had to drill some new holes in the door to get them to fit snug. I would definitely recommend this product.

All my life a have been, in one war or another, connected to music. I listened to classical music since I was 7 years old, and played the bass guitar and drums in a band. So I usually pay attention to the background rhythm and percussion.
I replaced the stock speakers in my 2010 Nissan Altima front doors with these, and the rear deck speakers with the Pioneer TS-D6902R (full set of Pioneer D-series speakers in the car). I could not believe the sound quality and details I was missing before. These speakers produce clear and crisp sound in the highs and mids, and the lows hit really deep. All I have is a 22 watt/channel HU and don't think I need an amp now that I can hear such details.
I applied Dynamat sound deadeners on my doors and rear deck, and I know this also contributed to the sound quality improvement.

Bought these speakers to replace some Rockford Fostgate p1653 (3-way 6.5in punch) speakers and the difference is astounding. These speakers don't push much in the way of bass but instead they are very heavy on the highs. They are very pronounced in the high hat and cymbal crashing ranges from a wide variety of directions. The snare hits sound simply realistic. Voices sound realistic and are not horrendously overpowering like my old speakers were.
My advice, buy them! They are a great upgrade to any car and you will be blown away. I recommend using them with a 4 channel amp and having a subwoofer of sorts as well. Mine is a sealed box but I think that I will soon be fabricating a ported box because I like the punchy sound that they produce.
Edit - After using them for about a week, they still impress me every time I get in my car. I am running a pair of these and an mtx thunder 12inch sub. Can't say enough good things about these...
