These speakers sound great in my Ford truck. I would estimate they sound twice as good as the factory speakers. Easy to install but a shop manual for your truck is helpful.  Nice Improvement for a 2008 Ford F150, By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Boston Acoustics S85 5"x7" 2-way car speakers (Personal Computers) I was originally looking at this exact model for about twice the cost as a replacement for my stock speakers in a 2008 Ford F150 extended cab. When I found these for so much less I had to pull the trigger and buy 2 pairs (fits front and rear). Installation was a breeze, only took an hour or so. All I wanted was something just a bit better while keeping my stock deck. These fit the bill wonderfully. They are all around just a better speaker than the stock ones. I would recommend boom mats or something because I do get a bit of extra vibration from my door panels now. I find the highs to be very good, and the lows a bit muddy. Not a big deal because they are still an improvement from what I took out. For the price I highly recommend these. Maybe pair it with a small sub if you are looking to clean up the lows.
