A great value. More expensive yet more versatile than "single hole" coaxial or triaxial speakers, these 2-way component speakers feature a 6 1/2" woofer, a separate tweeter module, and a separate crossover module with a 3-position tweeter output switch (0db, +3db, and +6db).I bought a new car in May 2011. The front speakers (woofers in the doors, separate tweeters in the sideview mirror panels) are not stellar but they put out decent sound. The rear speakers (single cones in the rear doors) were muddy and needed replacement ASAP. These Kickers offer great value and the tweeter offers multiple mounting options (flush, angled, or surface mount). I replaced the rear door speakers with the Kicker woofers, using home-made 3/4" thick particle board spacer/adapters. I mounted the tweeters up high in the rear door panels. The angled mount allowed me to aim the tweeters towards the rear passengers. The separate crossover...
