I put them in my Saab 9000, cranked it, and listened until my battery died. Not intentional, but I just couldn't turn it off. The highs, the vocals, the shaking rear-view mirror...I'm an audiophile on a budget, meaning I don't just go out and buy the most expensive rig; I do tons of research and find the best value. And people on a budget - which, if you're reading this review, probably means you - often find "the diamond in the rough" if they search hard enough. And that's what we have here. Now, I do have an amp in my trunk, a nice Clarion active crossover, and a solid Kenwood eXcelon head unit, meaning I can adjust the sound pretty extensively. And to get the full potential from an upgraded speaker set, you really do need a complete setup. So for those who don't drive a rock stage, or have a hefty aftermarket head unit, the highs may not be as crisp, the bass not as thumpy, and the vocals a little distorted at high...
