I compared them to 7 or 8 (all 6.5 inch) different ones ranging from $40-$90 and the Infinitys were superior to all of them. The second closest ones were some Pioneer Premiers which had great highs and bass superior to the rest, except the Infinitys. The 6022i's were a clear standout in the highs and lows and I was particularly impressed with the very tight and powerful bass response of these speakers. An angled stand-off tweeter is also a cool feature on these which shoots the sound more in your direction. They were the most expensive ones in the room however at $99 but I got them for 50 bucks online and I believe they're worth every penny. The bass is adequate, but would be better if there were a little more power going to the speakers. The stereo imaging from these is fantastic. The adjustable tweeters really help. The vocals and highs are crisp and clean. I highly recommend them. The installation was easy and the sound is excellent. The 3db button on the speaker made a noticable difference to me. Now I like to sit in the back instead of the front. I just need to do the rest of my speakers with inifity. Great. |
