Used the same factory clamps to hold it in position . Put these new speakers in. Fantastic sound. I love it . Crystal clear sound.Looking to buy 2 more for my Honda. Did not use the grill. Great sound for a great price!, By This review is from: Pioneer TSA633 / TS-A633P / TS-A633P Premier 6-1/2 3-Way Speaker (Electronics) Recently purchased 2 sets of these to replace the 4 stock speakers in my 1991 Honda Accord LX.My driver side speaker was completely blown out, could barely hear my passenger side, and the two rears distorted horribly at mid to high volumes. Used the Metra 72-7800 speaker harness (no splicing, soldering, or electrical tape needed), a 2-hour install for a novice who had no idea how to take off my front door side panels. Now, I instantly knew that these were a step up from the my stock speakers which look liked that they were made from sand paper and scotch tape, but I had no idea it would be such a huge improvement! Crystal clear highs and mids, respectable lows (don't really pack a punch, but I knew what to expect). Paired up with an old Alpine CDE-9841, these speakers have breathed new life in to my sound system. With a newer receiver (Pioneer Premier DEH-P610BT), a nice sub (Pioneer TS-SW301), and a decent amp, you could probably tap... Read more  Good factory replacement without breaking the bank, This review is from: Pioneer TSA633 / TS-A633P / TS-A633P Premier 6-1/2 3-Way Speaker (Electronics) Purchased 2 sets to replace the factory door speakers in my 2003 Honda Element EX. I already had a 10" MTX subwoofer that provided good low end, but I needed speakers that could put out enough volume in the mids and highs to keep up with the sub over highway road noise.The factory stereo died a while back, so I can't say how they'd fit in with that, but paired with a Pioneer FH-P8000BT I saw (heard) a nice increase in mid-high response. Not much bass, but what is there comes out a lot tighter than the muddy tone from the paper factory cones. Tuned properly, they can fill the range right down to where the subwoofer picks up. PROS: - Clean mids/highs - Full-range (no need for separate tweeters and crossovers) - Plenty of mounting holes for various vehicles CONS: - Included covers leave cones exposed (they fit under the factory grills in my Honda Element, not an issue for me) - Weak on low end...no distortion, just not a lot...
