It's been awhile since I've had a system, and when I did they were the plywood made boxes used for my subs. You can really tell a detailed difference in these special made MDF R/T 300 enclosures, and the labyrinth vent really gives your sub's output an extra dump of big, deep, loud bass, especially if you're a fan of Kenwood 12" subs. The wood is thick and the box is sturdy and well made. A very good box for my Kenwood subs, I am very pleased.
