Well made, sound clear and accurate. Also play very loud with good bass. ONE thing that I have not read ANYWHERE in online specs or reviews: On the INSIDE flap of the box it reads : WARNING: this product contains a high performance tweeter. If there is a tweeter already installed in your car, then you must disconnect its terminals. If you leave the original tweeter connected and connect this product in parallel, then a fault may develop in this product, so you are strongly recommended not to do so. WTF? that is precisely what i had intended on doing, replacing my 5.25" with alpines, and also upgrading the tweeter in my stock 6-speaker buick. Why is this warning HIDDEN on the inside of the box and not on any sites? any... I give them a 5 out of 5 since they serve my purpose for what i needed them to do, to supply clean sound in the front kick panels. But i've been reading reviews on how some people are saying they give good bass and i cant say i agree. While they are clean and responsive in the mids i would not buy these speakers solely for the intention of a good source of bass in your music. |
