Cab 1988 - 2006 Speaker Box With Labyrinth Power Port (Electronics) I installed this box in a 2006 Chevy Silverado with two 4ohm Comp10 kickers Kicker 10C104 Comp 10-Inch Subwoofer 4 DVC (Black)and a 400W Kicker ZX400.1 amp and it just rocks so crisp and clean. This box also fits nicely tucked under the seat so its out of site. Kicker 10ZX400.1 (2010 ZX400.1) ZX-Series 400 Watts RMS Class-D Monoblock Amplifier. Cab 1988 - 2006 Speaker Box With Labyrinth Power Port (Electronics) I installed the dual 10" Obcon Labyrinth Port in my 97 GMC Extended-cab. It sounds as good as the single 10 bandpass it replaced on the seat. Much better than boxes I have used in the past for under my seat. The only complaint I really have is the mounting surface for the speaker is really small. I had to actually notch one of the input terminals on the box for the speaker to fit, and the trim ring for my rockford fosgate P3S which adds strength won't fit. I could cut the top of the ring and notch it around the terminal, but I'm not ready to do that just yet. Overall it sounds great and looks good. Not sure why others have complained about the size of the port. Bottom line is if you want your seat back and aren't concerned with completely obnoxious bass than this is a great purchase. Cab 1988 - 2006 Speaker Box With Labyrinth Power Port (Electronics) the enclosure seemed to be built very well. however, when I tried to install my new kenwood subs, the outside rings overlapped the terminal cup, so I had to do some minor modifications...no big deal though...the company reimbursed me $20 to do the work instead of sending it all the way back to the factory...I give 4 stars for the enclosure itself and 5 stars for customer service...would buy from them again |
